A rich history of

BR Whitaker & Co was founded in March 1933 and has remained family-run ever since. We are a firm of Chartered Accountants that specifically focus on small and medium sized businesses, with our core offerings centralising around accounting, advisory and tax services.
Historically, as we are based in East London, we have generally only served the greater Eastern Cape region. However, in recent years, due to the benefits of a more personalised service offering, we have found that businesses across the country are enlisting our help. As a result, we regularly find ourselves travelling around the country to see our clients, and more specifically, we often find ourselves travelling up to Johannesburg so as to ensure that our clients there still get the same personalised service we pride ourselves on.
At BR Whitaker & Co we understand the inherent volatility in a business and do our best to guide our clients through this. In an ever-changing world, BR Whitaker & Co has remained relevant and agile, understanding the need to be at the forefront of technological developments so that we can better serve our clients.
