Andrew Whitaker CA(SA)
Andrew matriculated at Christian Brothers College in Kimberley in 1978, and then completed 2 years national service at 1 SAI and 61 Mechanised Battalion. He started his articles with the firm in 1981, studying a B.Compt and B.Compt (Hons) through Unisa, and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1987. Andrew then spent a few years out of the profession, returning on 1 March 1990, and has been at the helm of BR Whitaker & Co ever since.
John Whitaker CA(SA)
John matriculated at St Andrew’s School in Bloemfontein in 2008, and then went to study at Stellenbosch University where he completed a degree in economics and finance. After Stellenbosch, John worked as the financial manager for a manufacturing entity in East London, whilst completing his studies in accounting. John completed his articles at a corporate finance advisory firm in Johannesburg, after-which he worked as the group financial manager for a large residential property manager there
